With my CTC machine, I've discovered that an off/on cooling fan and other modifications can be damaging to the main board, so I decided to tackle this issue from a different angle since some materials only require partial cooling. This fan shroud simply slips over any 40mm fan frame, limiting airflow by turning the cover to adjust the opening, thereby adjusting the cooling effect. If you need maximum cooling, simply remove the shroud. Warning: Using the fan with the cover completely closed can cause it to work harder than usual and potentially damage the fan or main board. If you don't require any cooling at all, turn off the fan. Please be aware that I will not be held liable for any damage caused by your actions to your machine.
