Adjustable Cell Phone Tripod Mount
thingiverse
Hi Everyone!\nAs many of you know, I've had a DJI Osmo Mobile for quite some time now. I really enjoy it, but one thing that's been bugging me is how I had to remove my Otterbox Defender case from either of the two phones I use for filming. So I decided to switch over to using my Samsung Galaxy S5 as my main phone to use with it. I bought an Otterbox Commuter case to go along with it, and it works perfectly with the Osmo. \nNow, a new problem has arisen - my old tripod mount doesn't work with this case. So I decided to dust off an old project that was collecting dust, and turn it into a adjustable tripod mount that will fit any of my phones, no matter what case is on them. At the moment, it uses a rubber band to hold everything in place, but it works just fine. LOL!!!\nYou can see the video of this being printed here: https://youtu.be/lXiuwce5HH4\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: \n Geeetech MeCreator2\n \n Rafts: \n Doesn't Matter\n \n Supports: \n Yes\n \n Resolution: \n 0.15\n \n Infill: \n 30%\n \n Notes: \n Print with supports everywhere and in a grid pattern if using Cura. \nPost-Printing
