Adjustable Casting Box
thingiverse
A mold box, also referred to as a mould, is employed in the mold-making process to create walls around an object. For construction, 3mm acrylic stock is utilized. To form a single wall unit, solvent type acrylic glue connects one of each part (square, triangular, and rectangular). Four wall units can be temporarily secured together using M3 fittings or spring clamps. The file includes components to create 4 wall units. If your pour depth surpasses 20mm, you may need to obstruct any internally exposed bolt holes. Depending on viscosity and cure time, a temporary sealant might be required on edges to prevent casting compound leakage.
