HobbyKing's SONY CCD 1/3inch Camera won't fit inside the ZMR 250 frame, so I created this build to solve this problem. I cut the top plate of the frame and replaced the front standoffs with my design. The result is a well-aligned assembly with no issues. The camera stand adjusts between 0° and 20° and locks securely in place using friction. It's extremely rigid and stays locked during flight. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 75% Notes: This print is mostly composed of base planes and thin walls. Print time: Approximately one hour. Post-Printing: Additional parts are required for this build. You will need: 1 M3x45mm screw 1 M3 hex locknut 4 pcs M2x10mm self-tapping screws 2 pcs M2.5 hex locknuts (or regular) 2 pcs M2.5 screws Preparations: You must cut the top plate of the frame to accommodate the camera. Unfortunately, this build is not compatible with Möbius designs. The cut line is marked in red on the attached image. Remove the aluminum standoffs and the screws for later use. Assembly instructions: 1. Insert the camera into the front Camera piece. 2. Attach the back piece, ensuring it faces the flat side outward. 3. Secure it using self-tapping screws. 4. Drop the smaller nuts into the hexagonal openings and bolt them to the bottom plate of the frame. 5. Align the holes of the base part with the camera front part's holes and push the long screw through. Adjusting the camera angle: 1. Loosen the long screw on the bottom and adjust the desired angle. 2. Tighten it up again, but be careful not to over-tighten, which may damage the parts. Design considerations: I designed these parts with 3D-printer friendly features in mind, minimizing external components wherever possible. I added extra material at critical points and used fillets where necessary.
