This adjustable cam on your 2014 FIRST Robotics Competition Robot enables precise control, letting you set stop points for the kicker without replacing parts. Combined with a limit switch, it guarantees a specific stopping point during operation. Its unique shape ensures easy activation of the metal tab on the limit switch and an indent rotates over it. A rocker cap can be added to the limit switch for even easier rolling. The hub is designed for 1/2-inch keyed shafts, held together with #6 hex head screws. By manipulating the adjustable cam, you can control where the limit switch engages, allowing your robot to know when the kicker is in position. Simply slide a rocker switch over the limit switch's metal lever for optimal cam engagement.
