This offers the chance to sneak in a small piece of bone or other substance for the strings to glide along. Pair with a metal foundation. I recommend using some aluminum angle available at Lowes. My Adjustable Bridge Base can serve as a reference point to lay it out, as it will lift away from the guitar body when strings are tightened. I'm currently developing a printable base featuring mounting screws positioned behind the strings.
