Adjustable breakaway cat collar

I noticed pet store cat collars priced around $10, so I decided to see if I could make one for less. One of the best things about this project is that if your cat outgrows or loses their old collar, you can easily make a new one. The standard width of the collar strap is approximately 1 cm, but it's easy to scale up the size if needed. To achieve the desired thickness of the strap, I cut a strip of fabric with a width of 3 inches and folded it inward three times, ensuring that any potential fraying would be contained on the inside. Next, I sewed together the two sides of the strap and threaded it through the corresponding pieces.
