This is bowden extruder, easily adjustable with an M3 allen wrench. It fits MK7 drive gear and 688ZZ(8x16x5) bearing perfectly. A fitting from E3D v6 hotend makes inserting the bowden tube a breeze. The design is easy to use and sleek in appearance. The filament guides through the extruder entirely, preventing any stuck situations. As for the spring, I'm using 25mm of OD 8.2/ID 6.2 length. You might need a stronger spring to achieve a good grip at high printing speeds. Assembly requires four 30mm M3 bolts or three 30mm and one 25mm bolt. It measures 21mm thick and is designed to mount on a wall, which I've done with a 5mm acrylic frame. If you want to attach it to a thicker wall or bracket, longer bolts will be necessary. After more than three weeks of use without issues, I'm confident in this extruder's performance. You may find that a stronger spring is required for printing speeds over 100mm/s. The solidworks source files are available (extruder-MK7.zip), so feel free to modify them as needed. Print Settings: - Printer: DIY H-bot - Rafts: Doesn't matter - Supports: No - Resolution: 0.2 - Infill: At least 30% Design Inspiration: I was inspired by the Ultimaker 2 feeder's design, and I wanted this extruder to be simple in appearance while having an adjustable tension.
