Adjustable tension GT2 belt connectors for RigidBot printers are designed to work seamlessly with Alex Lee's idler pulley upgrade. These connectors require a 30-35mm M3 screw, which may need to be longer if a wider range of tension adjustments is desired, along with an M3 lock nut. To achieve optimal results, it's recommended that this connector be printed using ABS or other plastics with higher glass transition temperatures, as PLA may fail when used near the heated bed. The 1mm gap version has looser tolerances between the connector and the insert, resulting in a slightly different fit. Fortunately, the x and y axis parts are identical, with only the mirror image differing.
