Adjustable Beer Can Handle
thingiverse
This is a highly engineered beer can handle that can be adjusted to hold both short 0.33l and tall 0.5l beer cans, as well as anything in between, using a standard 55mm hole at the bottom. The adjuster features a spring detent mechanism with a very satisfying click, securely holding the can and the set height in place. Print the Top.stl file lying flat on its side. Print the Adjuster.stl file standing upright with the detent bumps facing up. Print the Base.stl file standing upright. Print the Spring.stl file lying flat. Alternatively, for a stronger base, print the 3-split Base_L, _R and _M files lying flat and glue them together. Use high infill, low speed and high temperature to achieve maximum strength. Make sure all parts come out strong before putting it to use - this is no time to take chances. Consider the consequences if something were to break. To assemble, place the spring at the bottom of the base and gently twist the adjuster all the way down until it clicks into place. Insert the top part and turn the adjuster to get the threads started. Now enjoy your newly assembled beer can handle.
