Adjustable and strong Tap Wheel (Handle)
thingiverse
Very versatile and robust tap handle.\nThe circular shape makes it extremely easy to use, especially for small taps. Holding it upright with one finger of one hand and turning the wheel with the other hand makes it simple to get the thread perfectly aligned.\nThe handle can accommodate taps up to 5mm in diameter. The taps are locked and released by tightening or loosening the nut while keeping the hex flange bolt straight with the hex-shaped groove on the outside.\nYou'll also need:\n2x M5x20 screws with a hex key\n1x M5x20 hex flange bolt\n1x M5 nut\nInitially, this was just an idea to test if it's possible to create a tap handle with interchangeable taps that can securely lock the tap tight enough for practical use.\nI achieved this goal by creating a notch with two bolts and pushing the shaft of the tap into the notch using another bolt.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: Sintron Prusa i3 Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 25% Post-Printing Prewarm the hex key screws and run them in.
