***UPDATE 16FEB2017: I made some changes to help machines with tighter tolerances. Now, there are two wedge designs (D1/D2) - D1 is the original and has a tighter fit (there's also a loose tolerance version available), while D2 has a different joint between the top and bottom wedges with larger tolerances for those who have issues with D1 being too tight to mate. Note that if D2 feels sloppy, then D1 might be what you need. This all depends on extrusion width, filament diameter, and printer variances, so test one top and bottom before printing them all. Here's how it works: - All housings have the same internal fit, so any wedges and threads will fit in any housing - the only difference is outside mounting features to secure it to the printer. - Choose a housing, choose a top wedge and bottom wedge with the same design (D1 or D2 in file name), and then choose a threaded assembly. The hex one is meant for areas with little clearance (z rods on side of bed) while thumb is best for areas where clearance isn't an issue. Assembly videos and everything below still apply. 4.5mm, 4.6mm, and 5.5mm designate the gap between the lip of the top wedge, so build plates should be between +/- 0.4mm in thickness to the top wedge chosen. Enjoy! The current configuration will offset the top of the build plate 28-31mm from the bed carriage - 3mm of travel (I only needed 1.8). Housings designated RR,RL,FR,FL have a 2mm slot designed for an interference fit with 2mm aluminum bases. The bed slot on the top wedge is designed for an interence fit with a 4.6mm glass/heat pad thickness I made this specifically for my machine (Formbot Trex2) but many of the items will work with lots of printers - nothing a drill and some hardware can't fix. What I wanted was an adjustable bed leveling tool that required no tools other than what was printed to make adjustments possible. Also, because auto level does not help with a 2nd extruder that's offset any distance. This is my first model and created it after 2 weeks of self teaching inside Fusion360 (Excellent Software to learn), so hopefully it performs as well for others as it is for me. Some universal items were not saved in the proper print orientation. The housings should be vertical with the hole axis perpendicular to the build plate (angle pointing up). Everything was designed for zero support and full function off the printer. I can make modifications for specific situations if needed when I have time. Here's a demo and install for my printer: https://youtu.be/L5o15XNt9-I Indicator on the bed after the install yields
