This modified end stop bracket was derived from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:602730. It serves as an end stop bracket for attaching MakerBot-style end stop switches to 2020 extrusions. The modifications made were intended to resolve two issues: * My end stop switches feature seven solder joints on their backs, three of which collided with plastic on all the end stop switch brackets I found on Thingiverse, thus inducing strain and rotating the end-stop switch outward. This revised design includes three holes in the bracket to accommodate these solder joints, resulting in a much smoother attachment. * Other end stop switch bracket designs I've seen provide a screw hole for mounting the bracket to the 2020 extrusion that ends up being behind the end stop switch itself. This makes it impossible to adjust the placement of the switch after it's been installed -- at least, not without removing the end stop switch itself. This design relocates the mounting screw for attaching the bracket to the 2020 extrusion to the side, where it remains accessible even after the switch is attached to the bracket. To utilize this design, you will need additional parts: * 2 M3x6 screws to attach the end stop switch to the bracket * 1 M3x8 screw to attach the bracket to the 2020 extrusion * 1 M3 T-nut, to which the M3x8 screw attaches Note that the solder joint holes in this design are highly specific to the end stop switches I own. The specific products I purchased have disappeared from my vendor's site, but I believe they are clones of a MakerBot design. I had no problems finding similar-looking products on Amazon, but I can't guarantee the solder joint holes would match. If you need to adjust their location, you can do so by editing the Adjustable-End-Stop-Bracket.scad file in OpenSCAD: Adjust the X positions of the holes by changing the values on line 60, and change the Z position by altering the "2" value in the "translate" command on line 61. You'll then need to re-render the design (F6) and export it as an STL file. The printer I'm using this bracket with is a Kossel XL, but the bracket should function properly on any printer that utilizes 2020 extrusions capable of holding end stop brackets.
