Adjustable 2-in-1 fan duct: extruder and filament cooler for E3D V6
thingiverse
A small tweak can help resolve early-stage problems or if the work requires less cooling, simply swap out a closed gate or valve with an open one to get things flowing again smoothly. Alternatively, you've found that even if the gate obstructs nothing, sliding it in or pulling it back slightly helps control airflow nicely. As I discovered firsthand when using this setup, rotating the duct view gives you a clear visual understanding of how everything fits together; check it out! This design revision V5 retains the exact same precision as its predecessor so you should be fine with this update. Take note: A picture has been added showcasing version V5. Note that the heatsink's diameter is precisely 24,64mm, making a comfortable fit; perhaps it could be a tad longer to really maximize space – an idea might even get passed along to the Chineseclone maker. If so, we can try making this tweak on the original model here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:839620
