Replacement Bracket for Adimlab Printer Y Stepper Motor Replacement bracket for the Adimlab printer Y stepper motor is needed due to the factory bracket's tendency to bend easily and sometimes even crack. The original holes on top of the 2020 extrusion can be used to secure the new bracket in its factory position using two or three screws with extrusion nuts. Long screws, such as M3 x 12mm, will be required for mounting the motor and Y-axis stop switch. Note that the "Beefy" version does not work well with a standard damper; either do not use one or replace it with thin material like TPU or gasket making material. On February 28th, 2019, some edits were made to the "Beefy" version and it was run through Netfabb. By request from an Adimlab Facebook Group member on February 3rd, 2019, an extra "Beefy" version was added. On December 2nd, 2018, the thickness of the bracket and triangular brace were changed to 6mm due to warping issues with the previous design. The Y tensioner might be too tight. Now on version four. On October 13th, 2018, the original STL file was deleted and a new v3 STL model was uploaded along with modifications for increased clearance around the switch. Minor changes were made to the model on October 12th, 2018, after installing this bracket on my machine. M3x8 screws were used initially but m3x10 might work better with the stepper motor.
