Adimlab X-Tensioner Improved Remix

This remix of the original FB Group Adimlab Gantry printer X-axis belt tensioner has been improved upon. The base and top have been thickened, and two additional triangular braces have been added on each side to enhance stability. By lowering the pulley housing area about .5 mm, the original position of the OEM pulley is restored. Meanwhile, the idler pulley has been remixed to accommodate slightly larger screw heads, as well as being strengthened for greater durability. HARDWARE: To attach the tensioner to the printer, utilize the OEM hardware that came with it. Use a 3mm x 35 screw to pass through the pulley, and consider adding a 3mm nut on the opposite side of the pulley to prevent the screw from spinning. Insert a 3mm nut into the knob as well. Avoid using a nylock nut in the knob, as this will create excessive tension on the screw, causing it to spin uncontrollably. 04/25/2020 UPDATE: Note that the knob design has been altered from its original appearance. Additionally, updated information regarding hardware usage has been incorporated. 02/16/2020 UPDATE: Due to issues encountered during printing, the front brace in the slot was removed to optimize performance. 12/29/2019 UPDATE: The v3 pulley issue has been corrected, allowing it to slide smoothly all the way back into the screw opening. 9/14/2019 UPDATE: Version 3 of this model has been updated, featuring one version with an Adimlab logo and another without. As a result of the pulley's weakness, its design was thickened for added strength. Printing the pulley in PETG or ABS is recommended for optimal results; however, the thickened part should still hold up adequately when printed with PLA.
