Adimlab Gantry Y linear rail mod
thingiverse
This mod is designed for the Adimlab Gantry Y axis linear rail system. Part requirements include two MGN12-450 units plus an MGN12H. The user must print a linear rail support as shown and a mirror image of it. Eight M3-6 countersunk screws are necessary to attach the rail support to the carriage, while six M5-10 screws will be used to secure the rail support to the carriage plate. Sven Kehrberger provided the rail support. The Y belt and motor bracket remix, courtesy of Jon Bourgeois, shifts the belt up by 10.1mm. A new Z plate has been incorporated into the design. On September 12th, the slot on the Z limit switch plate rev2 was moved upward by 5mm. Also on September 12th, the cutout dimension of the Y belt bracket rev2 was updated to accommodate the existing aluminum pulley on the Grantry white board, eliminating the need for a printed pulley. On October 3rd, a beefy version of the Y motor bracket and the Z Limit Switch Bracket, End stop Bracket, and Knob were added to the system.
