AdimLab Gantry Single Unit Refactor
thingiverse
This reconfigures the AdimLab Gantry printer to be a single unit instead of having a separate control box. This configuration turns the printer sideways allowing better clearance when backing the printer against a wall. (the bed goes side to side rather than front to back) The standoffs for the controller are designed for M3 screws. They will break if you over-tighten. Stop tightening when you feel any resistance. I replaced the red/black wires connecting the controller and power supply with standard 120v power cord because they were too short for the new configuration. The controller box connects to the front-underside of the printer, the power supply to the rear-underside, and the interface to the right side. See pictures. Screws: A mix of M3*6 and longer. https://www.amazon.com/XOOL-Assortment-Precise-Beautiful-Printed/dp/B072FKMYMF/ref=sr_1_28 T-Nuts: https://www.amazon.com/SpzcdZa-Sliding-Fastener-Aluminum-Extrusion/dp/B08144SBGQ/ref=sr_1_6 The interface re-uses the existing standoffs & screws
