I opted to ditch the stock drag chain after two wire breaks along the x-axis, opting instead to replace it with a slip fit design that eliminates sharp bends and minimizes drag/weight on the extruder assembly. This simplified setup requires only three small zip ties for securement, eliminating the need for any additional hardware. The print now flows smoothly without supports, boasting three recessed points that keep those zip ties firmly in place.
