Adhesive Pot holder V3.0
thingiverse
DESCRIPTION Adhesive pot holder designed for three 'Tamiya Extra Thin' size bottles, offering a convenient organizer and preventing accidental knocking of pots while building. The handle rotates with tabs holding the pots in place securely. Version 3.0 is a slimline modern style version of Adhesive Pot Holder V2.0 available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4247925 DESIGN NOTES Unused space was a concern with the original holder, prompting me to create a minimalist version. Despite maintaining the same overall size, this design takes up significantly less room on the workbench. Its potential for CNC machining from aluminum billet is an exciting prospect. ASSEMBLY NOTES Print parts A, B, and tabs part in PLA at 0.2mm layer height with 10-20% infill for parts A & B and 50% infill for the tab part. Ensure the tab part fits into base Part A without any artefacts (blobs) preventing a flush fit. Press the handle until it clicks into place, keeping it vertical during assembly as it requires considerable force. Secure tabs to the base with two small screws. Use M2 x 4mm long Philips head screws or equivalent for secure fastening. The handle may initially feel stiff but will loosen up after working it a few times.
