Adhesive PCB mount M3 captive nut
thingiverse
A simple M3 standoff mount that can be attached to any surface with 1/2" foam adhesive tape (e.g. VHB). Uses a captive standard M3 nut for a reusable threaded mount. 5mm tall (not including foam tape). Prints very quickly and without supports so there is zero post-printing cleanup needed. Just drop in a nut, attach a square of adhesive tape, and stick it wherever! This is an alternative to common HC-5 nylon adhesive PCB mounts, which tend to have very stiff latches so the PCB is hard to remove once attached. Extra items needed: - M3 bolt (for a 1.6mm PCB: 6mm length) - M3 hex nut - 1/2" foam double-sided adhesive tape (e.g. VHB) I've also included the Fusion 360 design file if you'd like to modify or customize the design.
