The structures related to the winery are located right at the entrance of the Castle alongside the Village Gate. In the 14th century and quite possibly in the centuries that followed, a large portion of the land surrounding the Castle was cultivated with vines. These lands should have belonged to small property owners who, in some cases, lived inside the enclosure, where the wine production cellars would be located.
