Additional Support for Carrying Arm, Provac

The client demanded an extended support component at the end of the car lift's carrying arm so that the vehicle could be raised from its rocker panel. To resolve this issue, I designed an additional support element that rests on a pre-existing pad of lift. This extra component is simple to remove and repair. Manufactured sheet metal parts are precision-cut using lasers. For improved adhesion to painted surfaces, rubber pads are applied with a strong adhesive. The pads are then secured in place with bolts - this detail was intentionally omitted from the model. This particular design has been integrated into the Provac 2 post lift system.
