The printing head's fan duct accommodates an additional fan in the Ultimaker system. Assemble it with two screws opposite the regular fan mount. In certain machines, the aluminum base may heat excessively, so use insulating materials like paper or appropriate washers. The latest version (v1.1) boasts stronger supports to counteract bending caused by fan heating. A 50mm x 50mm, 12V brushless fan is required for completion.
