Possible prehistoric carving discovered near Addingham Crag, a prominent rock formation on Rombalds Moor, West Yorkshire. This boulder is located directly 25 metres east of the more intricately carved Addingham Crag 01 (IAG210). First documented by Paul Bowers, this stone was meticulously recorded and uploaded to ERA by the CSI: Rombalds Moor Project in 2013. The team observed a possible cup with an arc and a cup with a short groove. The stone is composed of extremely coarse grain sandstone, and pitting is evident throughout, leaving the artificial nature of the depressions uncertain. ERA Record: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/details.jsf?eraId=2625. This digital model showcases the possible carved area of the stone and was created in July 2020 from six stereo pairs captured by Peter Butler (CSI team) in July 2013. The imagery is part of the HLF funded CSI: Rombalds Moor / Watershed Landscape Project archive deposited with ERA.
