Add-on Top Shield/Visor - US/A4

<p>UPDATED 04/11/2020: After playing around with the stock Prusa frame, it turns out that if you flip the frame over and install the shield with the pegs on top, you can use the 10mm height v2 visor and it fits great. Check photos for reference. Work with US(3) and A4(4) hole layouts.</p> <p>I was able to make a v2 work for 15mm height frames so that has been added.</p> <p>UPDATED 04/09/2020: We revised the visor design to work on low profile frames (10mm) that have either 3 or 4 holes and improve fit. DXF and .stl files uploaded. Working on refining two more options for 15mm and full height 20mm sized frames. New version is visor-10mm v2.</p> <p>..................................................</p> <p>This is the key component from another remix I posted. I've split this out to make it easy for people to find an add-on visor option for Prusa style Face Shields.</p> <p>I was inspired by the DtM NIH approved face shield and wanted to incorporate the top shield/visor design into the +100 face shields I've already completed and keep making face shields at the pace/filament usage I've planned for.</p> <p>This visor can be laser cut, vinyl cut, stenciled, punch, or 3d printed from any suitable plastic source. We have tried 10mil PVC binder cover, 15mil PP binder cover, .020" PETG sheet, .8-1mm PETG 3D print.</p> <p>I've included two version, depending on frame/shield height. One is for the stock prusa design, the other for my version which has a reduced frame height of 10mm</p> <p>Material thickness will effect how you stack the shield and visor components. The outside holes will either go over or under the shield holes depending on materials used.</p> <p>If you like this please repost your makes and check out my full face shield design.
