New switches are way too pricey ... however, I discovered a clever solution - they're also super affordable and prone to breaking again shortly. I salvaged the busted switch and stripped it down to its bare essentials, leaving only the outer casing and the worn-out contacts intact. Next, I designed and printed a custom 3D adapter that allows me to swap in a low-cost standard switch with ease. Finally, I carefully soldered the two contacts together, securing the fix. By doing so, I was able to save approximately 50 euros.
