This is an adapter for filament rolls that have a smaller inner diameter than the rod that came with the original Wanhao Duplicator i3 printer. The original spool holder has a diameter of 30 millimeters, which may not be compatible with smaller spools. If you've purchased a spool with an inner diameter of 21.5 millimeters, as I did, this adapter will come in handy. The adapter itself is 18 millimeters in diameter and provides a generous 55-millimeter clearance for the spool. One end features an M30x1.5 thread that matches the nuts supplied with the i3 printer, while the other end sports an M18x2.0 thread to fit its corresponding nut. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 millimeters Infill: 65% Notes: Printed with a speed of 50 millimeters per second and a minimum layer time of 15 seconds to ensure a stable pillar structure.
