<p>This adapter fits a standard 2.5" (which isn't 2.5") vacuum inlet to a female 50mm PVC fitting, which is also useful for connection to sanders and other kinds of bench equipment.</p><p>The vacuum end tapers from 57.5mm to 58.5mm so please check your fitting - when checking I like to take a slice from about half way along the model (in the slicer) and print a ten millimetre section to check for fit.</p><p>A couple of turns of Plumber's PFTE (teflon) tape will make a very smooth and easy to disassemble joint.</p>
