Adapter to put Commodore 64 keycaps on Cherry MX switches
thingiverse
I'm creating a special adapter to fit Commodore 64 keycaps onto modern mechanical keyboards. The keycaps have a cruciform slightly larger than Cherry MX switches, and it's placed deeper inside the C64 caps. To make this work, I designed this small adapter. Unfortunately, the key sits about a millimeter higher than OEM keycaps, but that can't be fixed with the adapter since the switch and cap are already nearly touching.
