Adapter to mount Decent Espresso portafilter holder onto a Niche Zero grinder

This is a mount to fit the portafilter holder from Decent Espresso onto a Niche Zero coffee grinder without having to modify anything. # Assembly instructions: ## Step 1: The alignment pegs on the base piece are slightly off-center. This positions the portafilter holder slightly back from the machine so that there is adequate clearance for a portafilter and the Decent Espresso dosing funnel. Press the Decent Espresso portafilter holder so it covers and hangs off of the _smaller_ side. Mine friction fit into place. ## Step 2: Use the closed tip of your nippers to gradually ream out the holes on the top part until a piece of 1.75mm filament fits through with some resistance. ## Step 3: Clip two pieces of 1.75mm filament at a steep angle to make a sharp point on each, then friction-fit them into the reamed holes so the sharp points are pointing down (away from the cupped portion of the part). ## Step 4: Similar to the base, the alignment holes in the top part are slightly off center, and the smaller side should be oriented closer to the portion of the portafilter holder that hangs off the edge (where the handle of the portafilter rests). Press the top assembly onto the bottom assembly being sure to line up the filament points (in the top) with the holes in the alignment pegs (in the base), and allow the excess filament to be pushed back up. ## Step 5: Gently try to slide the fully assembled pieces to ensure your filament alignment was correct. Once correct, use your nippers to cut the filament pins flush with the cupped top (note that this cupped top is where the steel cup that came with the Niche grinder rests and getting a fully flush cut helps ensure the Niche cup sits flat in the space) ## Step 6: Put a very small drop of "thin" CA glue (super glue) on the flush-cut filament. Use a small piece of paper towel to wick away any excess glue, then allow the glue to cure.
