This is an adapter to connect a Dyson vacuum cleaner to a cyclone/barrel. Why Dyson?The Dyson vacuum cleaner does not have any bag.Why an additional cyclone?The size of the Dyson vaccum cleaner dirt collection area is quite small. Rough dirt (e.g. planing, cutting or mortising) is captured by the cyclone, drops into the barrel  and will not receive the dyson vacuum cleaner. Only while sanding some fine dust gets to dyson. Dyson seems to be a much better dust collector for wood working than the previous “heavy duty” vacuum cleaner. The inner diameter of the cyclone is 49,5 mm. The outer diamater of the adapter starts with 49,75 mm and ends with 49,5 mm.The inner diameter of the adapter starts with 42,8 mm and ends with 43.05 mm.Therefore check the direction of the adapter while installing it to dyson/cyclone.I've printed the adapter in TPU. Use Gyroid as infill pattern.Other materials might also work, but I've not tested other plastics.
