This adapter is designed for an old car dock featuring a slide-in lock system for attaching the phone holder. By printing a new phone holder and attaching it to this adapter, you can use the same suction cup base mount for your new device. It may be the official Motorola car mount for the original Droid, available on Amazon. The rest of the new car dock design is published separately on Thingiverse. The block should be printed upright and positioned within a phone cradle for mounting; supports inside the cutouts are recommended during printing, as auto-supports in Skeinforge work effectively for this purpose.
