I have designed and printed my own "hexagon to 1/2 inch" adapter so I can change the wheels on my car using my cordless screwdriver without having to buy an adapter. The strength of the adapter varies depending on print quality, material, and infill. But when combined with a torque limiter, it should work just fine. To loosen screws, I use my cordless screwdriver to turn them counterclockwise. To re-tighten them, I simply turn the screws clockwise again.
