This is an insert for wall outlets. My Homematic smart light switch calls for screw holes, my 1968 wall outlet demands lateral clamps. This adapter ring enables you to install a device without lateral clamps, simply glue the ring into the existing outlet. I employed 2.5mm self-tapping screws to fasten the switch.
