I'm really pleased with how well an 8mm screw component works (it's incredibly sturdy), but I've found one significant issue - connecting it directly to a motor shaft proves to be quite tricky. To resolve this challenge, I created and now successfully utilize an adapter that incorporates a convenient 5mm screw setup for effortless mating with motors.
