To enhance VR and EEG system compatibility, we propose a solution that reduces forces on electrodes, minimizing discomfort and signal artifacts. We designed an adapter for Easycap CAC-128-X4M42-V2 and actiCAP systems with potential adaptability to other EEG systems. The adapter is placed on an electrode holder before installing the electrode itself, acting as a buffer between the head surface and VR straps to remove forces from the electrodes. Composed of two parts, the upper (hard material) part and lower (foam cushion) part can be 3D-printed using provided STL files; the core part requires hard plastic like PA12, while the foam part can be cut from polyurethane foam or printed with soft silicone like AR-G1L. Feedback and suggestions for improvement are encouraged.
