This adapter allows pairing of Shimano 11 speed road shifters with Shimano 11 speed MTB rear derailleur. Testing has been done exclusively with this setup: Shimano SLX RD-M7000 GS rear derailleur, XT 11-speed CS-M8000 11-40T cassette and Shimano ST-RS685 road shifters. To assemble the adapter, you will need the following components: Two bearings, model 623 2RS. One M3 bolt, 20mm long. Two M3 bolts, 6mm long. Two cable adjustment screws. M3 washers and nuts. A lengthy shift cable is required. An M5 hand tap may be needed to cut threads for the cable adjustment screws.
