I bought some $10 55-gallon barrels from a local coffee syrup distributor - the kind that has two plugs, replacing the one with the thicker threading. I re-used the original barrel's thick rubber gasket from its white cap. The smaller size of the flexible downspout fits into the adapter - the downspout was 83 mm wide, 55 mm across, and 45 mm deep. (I'm hoping this means I don't need a screen to keep bugs out as they'd have to go to the top of the house to come all the way down.)
