Adapter for patio umbrella with a pole smaller than the receiver tube of your under-table stand
prusaprinters

I have several patio umbrellas and heavy under-table stands. The stands all accept poles with a much larger diameter than the diameter of the actual umbrella poles. This results in umbrellas that are difficult to hold in place with the tension screw of the stand because the pole slips around inside the too-big receiver tube of the stand. This adapter solves that. It fits snugly into to the stand tube and the pole fits snugly into the middle of this adapter, keeping the umbrella pole centered and perfectly vertical. The tension screw goes through the hole in my adapter and pushes against the umbrella pole, holding it in place.

I suggest you print this with a material that is more heat resistant than PLA. The PLA version I printed softened and warped in the summer sun but the PETG version I made was more durable and worked better. I also suggest using 100% infill after you verify the dimensions will work for your situation.
