Ortlieb's QR handlebar bag is one of the best options for bikepackers. However, the way the quick release system is designed makes it not suitable for carbon bikes - mostly because of how it gets in contact with the handlebar. I think putting all the stress on a few mm is bad for any handlebar. And it gets worse with bigger handlebars, only the contact point is really small. Therefore I designed this simple adapter to make sure the force can be evenly distributed when mounting on a 35mm handlebar. Feel free to remix for other handlebar diameters or improve the design :) P.S. I have an old, low-budget printer. It should turn out much nicer with a good printer!
