To attach a Sony Xperia Z1 to a Gorilla Pod, I 3D printed an adapter on an Ultimaker with support structure at the bottom for stability. Although it securely holds the phone, trimming excess material under the Gorilla Pod adapter was tricky, causing a tight fit. This issue is resolved by adjusting printing direction as it affects the dimensions of the Gorilla Pod piece.
