The adapter enables easy loosening and tightening of the motor sprocket on Bosch Performance Motors. It was thoroughly tested on BJ 2014, ensuring compatibility with Gen 2 or 3 models. However, it may not fit Gen 4 drives due to design differences. Initially, this component was designed for a 3/8" ratchet but proved unstable and failed at the 4-edge recess area. Rather than switching to a 1/2" ratchet, I modified the adapter to work seamlessly with pliers wrenches, specifically water pump pliers featuring parallel jaws without any profile. Bosch specifies a tightening torque of 30-40Nm for this application.
