Adapter for IKEA Markus chair
thingiverse
I set up my new desk and found that I couldn't sit close enough, but a clever adapter for my IKEA Markus chair solved this problem, allowing me to sit much closer. The designed adapter part needs to be printed once as is and then mirrored to complete it. Using my Ultimaker S5 printer with an AA0.8 printcore, CPE filament, and 10 perimeters made the piece super strong - and it really is! After printing, I had to cut two M8 threads into each piece and attach two M8x30-35 bolts to secure each piece firmly to the chair.
