Adapter for Hose Vent used with Anycubic Photon
thingiverse
I found the idea at https://plastikjunkies.de/anycubic-photon-absaugung-raus-mit-dem-geruch/. They utilized a pc vent Noctua NF-A9 PWM and installed their adapter right on top of the Photen. However, this setup has one major drawback: the heavy hose must be moved in tandem with the top lid. Thingiverse offers an adapter for the rear outlet, but it's not ideal as it uses the mini vent, which doesn't provide good ventilation. At that time, I opted to use a kitchen hood instead. Although it was extremely loud, it managed to work indirectly due to its position above the PHOTON. My own design places the adapter on the right side of the PHOTON. The order from left to right is as follows: - Original plastic plate PHOTON right side (yellow) must be modified: cuts and holes like the plate design. - Plate - Adapter with vent Noctua NF-A9 PWM (Anschlussflansch für Rohrventilator) - Hose diameter 100 mm The mini vent has been removed, and a new lid replaces it. The lid features a cutout for the electric cable, which is then connected to the PHOTON plug (green). The color coding is as follows: red <=> yellow // - black <=> black // the two other wires from the vent must be isolated. The end result is that it works exactly as expected: great ventilation, very calm operation, and direct access when power is on.
