###Update I swapped out the cone for a 22-32mm one, making it compatible with CCTREE spools without falling through. ####Summary Filament spool sizes vary, so I crafted an adapter to handle them all. The adapter employs a konus to adjust seamlessly to individual spools. Its inner hole snaps onto an 8mm rod with ease. I deliberately skipped ball bearings, as the spool needs some resistance when unwinding filament. Past trials with ball bearings resulted in excessive unwinding and clogged filaments – not ideal. FreeCAD v0.16 source files are included for your modification needs.
