Adapter for Exakt PV 600 Vacuum Cleaner

<p>This is an optimized replacement part for my "Exakt PTV 600" vacuum cleaner, where the machine to hose adapter broke. The original hose coupler was still sound, so I only designed and printed the actual adapter, which fits into the vaccum cleaner and slides onto the hose adapter.</p><p>The designed part fits better into the vac than the original part, and you'll need a fair amount of force to snap it onto the hose adapter, which is intended to keep it in place. The hose will still rotate freely at the machine.</p><p>FreeCAD 0.19 project and step files are provided too.</p><h4>Printing:</h4><p>I've printed it with 2 walls and no supports, which printed perfectly fine, as the steepest gradient is 45°.</p><p>My printer is pretty well-adjusted. If yours isn't you may need to scale the adapter a bit up/down to get a perfect fit onto the original hose adapter, where it needs to snap onto. Alternatively, use a file to remove some material from the inner part of the printed adapter until it will snap onto the hose adapter.</p>
