The key feature is a deeper carriage that stops the fan duct from coming into contact with the fan's surface. A small protrusion fits neatly inside the clip, which ensures a proper fit and eliminates air gaps. To fix any issues, simply make this adapter out of the same material used for the clips. Then you can glue it in place securely.
