I would recomend wraping a layer of duct tape around the mount like I did for grip and stability This is a adapter I made because I was going to have a party and I needed speaker but my big 12" was broken so I bought a small 8" from ebay for very cheap and I needed a stand but non of my stands fit, so I took a old phone stand and made the adapter
