I have prepared a new, or more precisely - optimized version of the 3M 6800 fullface mask adapter for filters with a diameter of 22mm. 1. This version is lighter, optimised for mask and problemless printing. It means you can print not 31 but 51 pairs (left and right models) form 1kg spool of filament. Or count the time - 31 pairs was printing 91 hours, now the same amount will print in less then 60 hours. 2. The adapter has marks showing the side - if you look at adapter from the top facing towards you the filter hole you will see direction mark. 3. I increased its durability and added elements to facilitate assembly and disassembly of the filter - handling with gloves is now much easier. No sharp sides or elements. 4. The adapter has been tested on the mask by a medic, I had the opportunity to see both the mask and the filter and think about how and why, this is not remote designing quickly. 5. Weight of one adapter up to 9.81g (approx. 3.21m filament 1.75mm) 6. Printing the adapter without supports - the wall bevels are optimal for printing without supports, so it will be faster and more economical and it will still be a stable print that will be safe to use. 7. Recommended PETG printing, 100% infill (with such a small object it does not change much in terms of printing time or filament savings, while 100% infill definitely increases the tightness of the printed element - remember that we print it for people struggling for life - protect them, let's not save), a layer no larger than 0.2mm, at least 4 wall layers, as well as the first and last layers (bottom / top layers). 8. The key to these parameters is calibration of the printer - pay attention to parameters such as extrusion ratio, first layber extrusion ratio, overlap perimeter 9.
